Privacy notice

This notice is a working draft. It will be reviewed by qualified Nigerian privacy counsel against the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 before launch.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone and a hashed password.
- For children: the name, learning stage and class a parent or guardian enters. Children do not have their own email or password.
- For schools, organisations and educators: the details and documents needed to verify them. These documents are stored privately and seen only by authorised BE360X staff.
- Learning records: courses, progress, test results and attendance.
- Security records: sign-in times, IP addresses and an audit log of important actions.
Why we use it
To run your account, deliver learning, show progress to the people entitled to see it, verify organisations and educators, process payments, keep the platform secure and meet legal duties.
Children
Profiles for children are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian, who confirms they have parental responsibility. We collect the minimum needed and do not show children's information publicly.
Who can see your information
Only people with a reason to: you, your linked parent or guardian, the school you belong to, the teachers of your classes, and BE360X staff whose role requires it. Every staff access to private records is logged.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by contacting us.
